I am honored to have a Tannhauser adventure included in this issue. “Eighteen at Cedar Junction” follows Adrian to a meeting with a former mobster who has a story to tell and a job for the PI.
Here’s a snippet:
Meeting with a client means that I always arrive neat, clean, and casual. Today that meant a black V-neck sweater, 5.11 khaki tactical pants, and a black leather jacket that hid the Glock nestled in the small of my back. My brown cowboy boots from Cavender’s probably threw him off, as did my cane. Few people wear cowboy boots in Boston. Most PIs don’t have canes.
